WOW...Summer Wrap-up!

Ok...so seriously... I am sitting here typing thinking wow...summer is over!! School has officially started today! Did anybody else think summer flew by??? We had such a great time these last
2 1/2 months!! And since it has been forever since I have posted... CAUTION:this post may be LONG!

Well this was a bowling event with Bri & Shalyse!

We loved going to the POOL and swimming our hearts out!...well technically I lay out and the kids swim! :)

This was our 4th of July...by the pics it looks like the dead of winter...but we were at the Coast so what more do you expect!?!

We had a lot of fun hangin with Nick's fam at their beautiful new coast house on the fourth! Over the weekend we ate GOOD food...shopped...went to the freezing cold beach...saw some awesome kites...watched some good flicks...and just RELAXED!!!

Gavin had a FAB 8th birthday!!! He was baptized...on his birthday to be exact...he thought that was pretty cool! Earlier in his birthday week he had a party with some friends...we took them bowling and to RR! Then after his baptism on Sunday we had all our family come over for ice cream sundaes!! The kid got way too many presents!! I can't believe my little boy is 8! Can we just freeze time!! Please!!

The weekend before his birthday Nick and I took Gavin out for a special night...just the 3 of us! We went to Burgerville and then the American Idol concert!!! WOW!!!... I had so much fun!! I think more fun than Gavin did!! Although Gavin is a HUGE fan!!

We also had some great visits from Nick's family from South Dakota! This is Aunt Jan (Marilyn's sis), me, Marilyn, and Jenny (Jan's daughter)! It was a good visit...and so fun to see them! And Aunt Jan I know your reading this...tell Spence thanks again for putting up with Gavin!

We went and visited my sweet Nanny...I love her!! Her health isn't doing so good...it makes me sad to visit her when she is in this stage of her life. i LOVE MY nANNY!

It was a SUPER fun week!!!!Now it brings us to today!!! The first day of 3rd Grade...doesn't he look old!Our annual 1st day walk to school...aren't they cute!This is Gracie...she felt left out because her first day of Kindergarten isn't till next week...so I took a pic of her!

This was summer in a nutshell...we had some serious FUN!! Time goes by so fast...as I am getting older I am realizing that more and more. Drake is 7 1/2 months already! It's killing me! I have to stop myself sometimes and just enjoy each moment!!! Before you know it those little moments have passed you by!!

I Love SUMMER!

Well I have been struggling lately with blogging...I just can't seem to find the time anymore. But I wanted to say...We are ALIVE!! and totally enjoying the summer and the HOT weather!! So much has been going on...we are always BUSY!! Let's see what have we been up too?!?! ...Boating...swimming at the pool...lazy days at home with the BEST neighbors!...Gavin turned 8 and was baptized...Gavin's birthday party...American Idol concert...trips to the coast...Drake turned 6 months!...4th of July FUN...swimming at the O's pool!!!...and so much more!! I will have to post pics after I find time to download them! But I wanted to share some of these great summer photos my dear friend Jenny took of us! Aren't good pictures the BEST! Seriously she is an awesome photographer. If you are ever in the search...Jenny is her name! Her company is "giggles" and she could totally hook you up with some great shots! Just a little plug for my girl! Enjoy...I absolutely love these pictures!

Calling all Moms...I need some HELP!!

Ok well when Gavin was born he had a little eczema...and rashes out of the blue...looking back now it wasn't that bad. When Gracie came she came with horrible skin...it's rough dry, and she gets BAD eczema. And when i didn't think it could get any worse Drake came along!! He has eczema so bad it brings tears to my eyes!! Literally!! It is horrible...and I need help on what to do for it! We have tried the cortizone cream...and even prescription strength...nothing is helping! And too make matters worse...the HEAT makes it flare up bad...and that just doesn't fly with me...because you now how much I love the SUN! So I need some tips on what has worked for you??? Any home remedies or good lotions you have tried?? Please tell me what I can do?? Even if I don't know you...and you are reading this... and you have some advice I would love to hear it!
