Our Christmas...

Where has the time gone??? I finally have a minute to sit down and post about our Christmas! We have been so BUSY! I can't believe it is over already. And on a normal year I would be in some sort of depression right now. So much preparation and anticipation for one day...and then boom it's all over. But this year we have a special present that is been a long time in the making!! A BABY!! So I have something to look forward to! So Christmas was FANTASTIC! Just like every year, the kids were soooo excited and Nick spoils me rotten! It's the best! We had a great time with Nick's fam on Christmas eve and then my fam on Christmas day. Family is the best...the holidays just wouldn't be the same without them! Well for some reason I was totally horrible about taking pics...I am so mad...I think I was talking too much! But I got a couple...I guess. I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and we wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Gracie was sick on Sunday so she was so upset she couldn't wear her Christmas Dress so when Christmas Eve came and we went to Gram's church she was dying to wear it!!! They were seriously out of control excited!!!! The Family...our last Christmas of just us four...CRAZY! Grandpa and Gram with the grandkids!Christmas Eve...getting Santa his cookies and COKE ready! Nick convinced the kids this year to give Santa coke instead of milk. Gavin wasn't too sure about that...but he agreed he might need the caffeine for the late night!
Christmas morning...checking out the loot! Santa was too generous...like always. See the RockBand...well Santa brought us a family gift! Nick is obsessed with it...I think he wants to be a professional drummer now!

Christmas Cheer!

Wow we had a busy weekend! It's all still a blur! We had basketball games, a school party, a few Christmas parties, and some serious family fun! Thursday night we took the kids to this light show in Albany...(thanks to Nick's bro) they had fun and of course when talking to Santa they changed what they want for Christmas. I can't keep it straight...the list changes daily! Friday morning I went with Gracie to her school for a holiday workshop party...we made some cool crafts! Then the Blazers pulled out another victory on Friday night against the Jazz, and afterwards we got hooked up with special passes and got to meet some of the players and get autographs. I thought of you Shalyse and how much you would have LOVED it! But they wouldn't let us take any pics, sorry. Saturday we had a couple Christmas parties that I didn't bring my camera to. So all in all I didn't document that well this time. Sometimes doesn't it seem like you are just always taking pictures?? Nick gets irritated! Anyway I hope everybody is enjoying this season like we are! and a special note to my friend Jen....I am so glad you are feeling better!! Happy Holidays!

Here we are in Albany...we had to get some Hot Cocoa...it was COLD! Gracie was lovin it! Gavin thought the miniature trains were cool! We are fastly approaching Mr. Santa! Here we are at 34 weeks and counting...I can't believe Drake will be here next month!!!! I really am a lot bigger than this picture makes me look!!

Happy December Birthdays!!

Well a couple nights ago my whole fam went to Paddingtons to celebrate the December birthdays! Nick (my man), Kyle (my bro), Deon (my sis-n-law) and Brogan (my nephew) all have December birthdays! Can I just say it was pure craziness!! Now that my sister has moved back to join the madness the whole family is here! And when all the kids get together...lets just say...CHAOS! It's always fun though...never a dull moment! Sorry to the victims who decided to eat pizza that night too! Happy Birthday you guys...we love you!

Tis' the Season!!

Well tis' the season for Christmas Parties!! Friday night we went to our Ward Christmas party. Gavin and Gracie made their BIG debuts in the Nativity! Gavin was a shepherd and Gracie was Mary. Gavin hated the spotlight and Gracie loved it...are you surprised??? Then Santa made his appearance...thank goodness that was all the kids cared about. So Gavin and Gracie sat on his lap together and had a little chit chat. Christmas is the best...too bad it flys by so fast!

Happy Birthday to...My MAN!!

Well tomorrow is my man's birthday!! I am taking him away to a spa! I made us appointments for massages and pedicures. I know it wasn't the first thing on his birthday wish list but heck he needs to de-stress. And I thought I might as well go too... right?? So thanks for having a birthday sweets!

He Makes Mom Proud!!

I love my Gavin...he is such a good boy! He received a Principal's Award at school for being such a good kid and helping his teacher! I can honestly say I don't worry about him much...he always wants to make the right choices! He makes me proud!! Keep up the good work Gavin!!
