Where did September Go???

Gosh...this month flew by!! I can't believe it's Fall time!! I love the fall, the crisp air, good tv shows, decorating for Halloween, warm yummy drinks, turning on the fireplace, lighting candles, and just being cozy! The one thing I can do without is the RAIN!! Luckily its been nice to us so far! Well what have we been up to?? Life...I guess! A couple weekends ago we went the Sprague and West football game. The kids had a blast! It definitely brought back some memories. And Gracie loved learning the cheers from Shalyse! Who by the way... is a lot more talented than the cheerleaders now!! Gavin has been doing the same old thing...school and basketball! Gracie just doing the same old thing too! Although she is just TROUBLE to the T! She loves to socialize! I wonder where she gets that from? She loves school and boys!! We are in deep trouble with her. We went to her "Fall Festival" at school, to see her classroom and her friends, she couldn't stop touching her friend Jack. She told me she got in trouble in class earlier that week for not keeping her hands off of Jack. And then continued to tell me how she "likes getting in trouble...it's fun!!" I asked her what happened to Sam, the little guy she was interested in...and she said "Oh Mom, that was last week!" Oh sorry can't keep the boys straight! Nick has been busily working...we are leaving next Sunday for the SUNNY California!! We are going to be in Disneyland for a week! For those of you who don't know Nick is obsessed with Disney!! He loves to go to Disneyworld and Disneyland!! He is a big kid! So anyway we are going to try and get our life together this week to head out!! Man doesn't life go by fast! Before you know it will be Christmas...and then the baby!! AAAAAHHHHHH!

My little DIVA!

Well I always knew it but Gracie is my girlie girl for sure!! Today we went and got pedicures together. This was her first pedicure ever! She laughed the entire time! She kept saying...this is super ticklish! I think I might have started something I shouldn't have?? She already asked me when our next appointment is? She is so fun! I love her!!

Keeping Busy!!

I haven't blogged in a while...it seems like once school starts my life just turns into high gear! We just get really busy! But can I just tell you how much I am enjoying my life right now! Gavin is in school all day, and Gracie goes to school everyday till noon. Which means I have every morning to myself! It is the best! I guess I should enjoy it while it lasts...our baby "Drake" will be here before you know it! Well we had a busy weekend with family and friends! We joined in the festivities of my cousin Mark and his bride Robyn's wedding. We had a lot of fun. They are cute couple! I always enjoy attending weddings, it reminds me of me and Nick and our innocent love we had for each other...after 8 years I can honestly say I am more in love with him now! Anyway, I won't get to mushy...here are a few pics of the weekend!

A BIG Day!

Well today was exciting to say the least! Gavin started 2nd grade! I can't believe he is that old already. I feel like he just started kindergarten. I had to attend Gracie's orientation at her school so Nick took Gavin. I was so bummed I had to miss his first day of 2nd grade! He started at a new school this year so I had a lot of anxiety for him! He woke up bright eyed and so excited at about 6am. You would of thought it was Christmas morning. He couldn't wait to walk to school! Nick said he was doing good, put his things away in his desk, hung up his backpack, sat down, and then started getting really sad and nervous realizing he didn't know a single soul. But Nick left him and hopefully he is doing ok?? I can't wait to see him at 3:30 and hear how his day went. I just want him to make good friends! School is such a great thing though, you get a well needed break from your child! They miss you and you miss them! I cant wait till Gracie starts! :) And then...today we found out we are having a BOY! We are so excited! That is what I was truly hoping for! Everything looked good and you could definitely tell he was male! Nick will take credit for that...he says it runs in the family! We couldn't be happier...I am just not sure when it will finally hit me that we are having another kid?? Oh well...he will be here soon enough! I can't wait to meet him! Pregnancy is so crazy, but I have to tell myself to enjoy every minute, it truly is a miracle!

Labor Day!

Well, we weren't sure what to do for the big holiday...so we headed up to Portland! We stopped at the temple to let the kids stretch and look around. They both thought that was pretty neat. Then we met the Springer Fam at the Portland Beaver game. It was there last game of the season! We had fun! It sure was hot though! Then we stopped at Krispy Kreme (the baby really wanted a good donut!) and then at CPK for dinner! It was a fun day for sure, but a lot of family time! I was done by the end of the day! I think we all were!

The Fair!

Well we went to the fair ofcourse! The kids had a blast. I love going too...it just seems like we waste way too much money! We porked out on fried foods, saw the animals, played some games, and rode the rides! The kids thought it was just as fun as Disneyland! I guess you can't ask for more than that??

We Had To Get Away!!

Well I felt we needed just one more little trip before summer was over! So we packed up and headed to Eagle Crest with our good friends "THE SPRINGERS!!" We had a awesome time...not long enough for sure! I love getting away! All I need is a little sunshine and I'm good. The kids had a blast together! It was for sure non stop action-go go go! We went to the pool, walked, biked, the men golfed (ofcourse), went boating on the Springer's ride, cooked good food, went in the Hot Tub,(I just stuck me feet in don't worry), and just hung out! It was a lot of fun! I want to go back! And after boating on Lake Billy Chinook, and seeing all the pimped out boats, Nick remembers how much fun it is to go boating. So to wrap up the trip we had to go look and just see what boats were going for! Too much money I tell you that! I love my man, he's funny! Thanks Springer's for a FUN time! And we will always love Trey!
