Baby Drake pics!!

He has ARRIVED!!!

Well I thought I should let everybody know that we are healthy and home now!!! Drake has joined our family! He was born the 15th at about 1:30 p.m.! Weighing in at 7 lbs 3 oz and 18 1/2 inches long! We finally got a newborn! He is so tiny...it's hard to believe he's ours! After a horrible labor (I was given 2 epidurals and neither one worked!!!...my worst nightmare came true) I only had to push for 3 minutes ( 2 contractions) and he just flew out! It's all still a blur! I can't believe I have 3 kids now. I am truly a zombie...I was definitely not prepared for the lack of sleep! Last night I think I got 30 minutes total of sleep time. I am scared I might turn beastly! I don't do well with lack of sleep! But we are just luvin on this new little baby. I just snuggle him. I totally forget what it was like to have a baby...but I am trying to enjoy every second because I do remember how fast time flies! Don't be surprised if my posts become few and far between...sleep is very precious now. I can tell my "free" time is long gone!!!

38 1/2 weeks prego!!

Well it's getting close!!! And I am getting scared! I was watching Bringing Home the Baby last night and reality kind of hit me! Am I really going to have a baby??? OH MY GOSH!! I had a doc appt on Tuesday and she scheduled me to be induced next Tuesday Jan 15th. because we don't want a 10 pound baby. So I really only have 5 more nights of somewhat peaceful sleep. It is weird how many different emotions you feel during these last few days. But I have to say...I can't wait to meet you Drake!!!

James you are 19 today!!!! Happy birthday man! I just want you to know I don't know what I would do without you!! So don't leave on a mission...just kidding! You are such a cool cat...a good free boarder...a pimpin dresser...an AWESOME babysitter...a funny guy...I'll stop before it gets to be too much for you! I love you...and wish you a GREAT 19th birthday!

How did people live back then???

Ok so seriously...I haven't had much to blog about lately. My life sometimes isn't all that exciting. Over the weekend we went to the Blazer game (Go Blazers!!) and when we got in the car I noticed I didn't have my cell phone???? It was no where to be found. It was somewhere in the Rose Garden...maybe??? Anyway long story short I never found it. And seriously how did we live without cell phones?? People did do it...I am kind of feeling a little lost without it. Where are you cell phone??? And how come I always have to have anxiety about everything? I am worried now somebody has it that shouldn't...with all my numbers and pics in there. Not that they could really do anything with it...it just makes me nervous! So I guess I am off today to buy a new one. So don't be bothered if I ask you for your number again...heck I don't know anybody's...isn't speed dial great! And how did people live without flat irons and epidurals??? I definitely know why I was born during this time!

Our Christmas...

Where has the time gone??? I finally have a minute to sit down and post about our Christmas! We have been so BUSY! I can't believe it is over already. And on a normal year I would be in some sort of depression right now. So much preparation and anticipation for one day...and then boom it's all over. But this year we have a special present that is been a long time in the making!! A BABY!! So I have something to look forward to! So Christmas was FANTASTIC! Just like every year, the kids were soooo excited and Nick spoils me rotten! It's the best! We had a great time with Nick's fam on Christmas eve and then my fam on Christmas day. Family is the best...the holidays just wouldn't be the same without them! Well for some reason I was totally horrible about taking pics...I am so mad...I think I was talking too much! But I got a couple...I guess. I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and we wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Gracie was sick on Sunday so she was so upset she couldn't wear her Christmas Dress so when Christmas Eve came and we went to Gram's church she was dying to wear it!!! They were seriously out of control excited!!!! The Family...our last Christmas of just us four...CRAZY! Grandpa and Gram with the grandkids!Christmas Eve...getting Santa his cookies and COKE ready! Nick convinced the kids this year to give Santa coke instead of milk. Gavin wasn't too sure about that...but he agreed he might need the caffeine for the late night!
Christmas morning...checking out the loot! Santa was too generous...like always. See the RockBand...well Santa brought us a family gift! Nick is obsessed with it...I think he wants to be a professional drummer now!

I think they got what they asked for???My mom got the girl grandkids all matching furry vest and hats...they thought that was pretty cool!

Christmas Cheer!

Wow we had a busy weekend! It's all still a blur! We had basketball games, a school party, a few Christmas parties, and some serious family fun! Thursday night we took the kids to this light show in Albany...(thanks to Nick's bro) they had fun and of course when talking to Santa they changed what they want for Christmas. I can't keep it straight...the list changes daily! Friday morning I went with Gracie to her school for a holiday workshop party...we made some cool crafts! Then the Blazers pulled out another victory on Friday night against the Jazz, and afterwards we got hooked up with special passes and got to meet some of the players and get autographs. I thought of you Shalyse and how much you would have LOVED it! But they wouldn't let us take any pics, sorry. Saturday we had a couple Christmas parties that I didn't bring my camera to. So all in all I didn't document that well this time. Sometimes doesn't it seem like you are just always taking pictures?? Nick gets irritated! Anyway I hope everybody is enjoying this season like we are! and a special note to my friend Jen....I am so glad you are feeling better!! Happy Holidays!

Here we are in Albany...we had to get some Hot Cocoa...it was COLD! Gracie was lovin it! Gavin thought the miniature trains were cool! We are fastly approaching Mr. Santa! Here we are at 34 weeks and counting...I can't believe Drake will be here next month!!!! I really am a lot bigger than this picture makes me look!!
