We Had To Get Away!!

Well I felt we needed just one more little trip before summer was over! So we packed up and headed to Eagle Crest with our good friends "THE SPRINGERS!!" We had a awesome time...not long enough for sure! I love getting away! All I need is a little sunshine and I'm good. The kids had a blast together! It was for sure non stop action-go go go! We went to the pool, walked, biked, the men golfed (ofcourse), went boating on the Springer's ride, cooked good food, went in the Hot Tub,(I just stuck me feet in don't worry), and just hung out! It was a lot of fun! I want to go back! And after boating on Lake Billy Chinook, and seeing all the pimped out boats, Nick remembers how much fun it is to go boating. So to wrap up the trip we had to go look and just see what boats were going for! Too much money I tell you that! I love my man, he's funny! Thanks Springer's for a FUN time! And we will always love Trey!

My Husband's New Love!

Well I think my husband has found a new love!! GOLF!! He seriously is obsessed. He can't get enough of it! No matter how much he plays! I try to be a good wife but I just can't take it anymore! I'm venting! I would love to go somewhere for four, five, maybe six hours WITHOUT KIDS and enjoy the peaceful, beautiful outdoors. He wants to know why I won't be a "nice" wife, and just let him go have fun (GUILT FREE). Well I try but it's hard. I guess bottom line is I'm jealous! I'm 28 now!!!

Well, this has been a fun week! I am sad though, my birthday is officially over until next year. I had a great day! I can't believe I am 28. I still feel like I am 18 sometimes. Nick and I went to Original for breakfast with some of our favorite friends Brian, Shalyse and Hals! I love the apple pancake! Then my sweetheart came up with this brilliant idea to send me and another one of my fav friends Susan to the Spa!! Thanks Susan, that was well needed! Then Nick and I went out for dinner and topped the night off at the Olson's! How come it always seems as though your birthday always flys by?? Thanks to all my good friends and family for making my day (week) so great! And for all the great gifts I received! I love you all!

My Birthday!!

Well, I am turning 28 on Saturday!! There is nothing better than a whole day to celebrate ME! And better than that...a whole week. I tell Nick every year I get a birthday week! The celebration started on Sunday...the best family ever threw me a party! With mexican food and all! I love birthdays!

Don't You Just Love Bridgeport??

Nick and I took the kids to Bridgeport yesterday. Something to do I guess?? I just love going up there. Great weather...great restaurants...great shopping...great gelato...what more could you want?? We went to a movie, shopped around a little bit and went to PF Changs for dinner. I think it was culture shock for the kids.:) We never really go to Chinese food! They loved it...lettuce wraps and all! I wished we had a Bridgeport here!!!
