Our crazy Draker!!

So people ask us a lot...So does Drake have a similar personality as Gavin ?(since they look so much alike) Heck NO! Gavin...we love him...but he is always serious! Now this kid is hilarious!!! His personality is really starting to shine! He is a funny kid...always laughing at himself ( he really thinks he is a funny guy)!! He has a contagious toothy smile!!! A NEW POST!!!

I am just not into the blogging thing lately...sorry for the lack of posts! I'm not sure what my problem is...I just feel like...who really reads this thing anyway?!?! So for the few of you that do...We caught the MICE!!! We haven't had anymore since the last post!!! So for those of you I love...don't worry you can come over again! We always seem to keep BUSY!!! Lets see...Pumpkin patch...Halloween partys...sports...a new PUPPY!! Yes I know i'm crazy...a baby and now a puppy?!?! Well for some reason i just felt as though it was time for our kids to get a dog...(that we would keep)! It actually hasn't been that bad! The sunny weather has made it alot easier I think. He name is Oden. But we call him Odie for short. He is a Labradoodle and the sweetest dog ever! Him and Drake are double trouble...into everything they shouldn't be! It's been fun and I am trying to teach my kids something called responsibility!! Sometimes I feel like I am raising ungrateful spoiled kids...so lately I have been trying to be a better parent!! I'll keep you posted on how that one goes! :) So here are some pics of the last few weeks!

Drake is getting so BIG!! He is 9 1/2 months already! He is crawling everywhere and into everything! He isn't walking yet...and don't worry I can wait for that!! We love this little man! His personality is for sure starting to blossom!

My WORST Nightmare!!!

Ok seriously...I can't believe this is happening to us. We have some very UNINVITED and extremely UNWELCOMED visitors in our HOUSE!!!!! AAAAHHHH!!! We have a MICE problem! We thought it was just maybe one or two...but I thought wrong. I think we have a freakin colony or something. In the last 12 hours we have caught 3!!! and one that was still ALIVE! Greg your awesome man! This problem started on Saturday...and getting worse by the day! We have the "Mouse Hunter" coming today to help! A BIG thank you to Brian and Greg for coming to my rescue! I love you guys!!! And just so you know...I love my husband a TON...but he is a PANSY!!!

Nick has hired NEW help!!

So last night Nick decides he is going to bust out a brick wall in the house! YAHOO a PROJECT! For those of you who know me know that I hate when Nick decides to do a project! I love the guy... but he tends to start and has a hard time finishing! Well last night surprised me..he actually finished! But I think only because of his SUPER helper...GRACIE!!! Good job you guys...it looks GREAT!

Gracie's FIRST Day!!

What kind of Mom am I anyway??? I go to grab my camera to take pics of Gracie on her first day of Kindergarten and the camera's dead! Sometimes I wonder about myself!?!? So thank you Jen for backing me up! :) Gracie of course was SO excited! She and her buddy Trey are in the same class! I worry about her being "mother hen"...so sorry Trey in advance. My little girl is growing up TOO fast! I love her and her outgoing personality! Her and Gavin are so opposite! Gracie I love ya girl!

WOW...Summer Wrap-up!

Ok...so seriously... I am sitting here typing thinking wow...summer is over!! School has officially started today! Did anybody else think summer flew by??? We had such a great time these last
2 1/2 months!! And since it has been forever since I have posted... CAUTION:this post may be LONG!

Well this was a bowling event with Bri & Shalyse!

We loved going to the POOL and swimming our hearts out!...well technically I lay out and the kids swim! :)

This was our 4th of July...by the pics it looks like the dead of winter...but we were at the Coast so what more do you expect!?!

We had a lot of fun hangin with Nick's fam at their beautiful new coast house on the fourth! Over the weekend we ate GOOD food...shopped...went to the freezing cold beach...saw some awesome kites...watched some good flicks...and just RELAXED!!!

Gavin had a FAB 8th birthday!!! He was baptized...on his birthday to be exact...he thought that was pretty cool! Earlier in his birthday week he had a party with some friends...we took them bowling and to RR! Then after his baptism on Sunday we had all our family come over for ice cream sundaes!! The kid got way too many presents!! I can't believe my little boy is 8! Can we just freeze time!! Please!!

The weekend before his birthday Nick and I took Gavin out for a special night...just the 3 of us! We went to Burgerville and then the American Idol concert!!! WOW!!!... I had so much fun!! I think more fun than Gavin did!! Although Gavin is a HUGE fan!!

We also had some great visits from Nick's family from South Dakota! This is Aunt Jan (Marilyn's sis), me, Marilyn, and Jenny (Jan's daughter)! It was a good visit...and so fun to see them! And Aunt Jan I know your reading this...tell Spence thanks again for putting up with Gavin!

This was summer in a nutshell...we had some serious FUN!! Time goes by so fast...as I am getting older I am realizing that more and more. Drake is 7 1/2 months already! It's killing me! I have to stop myself sometimes and just enjoy each moment!!! Before you know it those little moments have passed you by!!
